What I'm Looking For

I'm looking for both literary fiction and some smart commercial fiction.  Having a strong voice, developed sense of place, and compelling concept or plot at hand are all important factors. On the nonfiction side, I'm looking for proposals that offer a new unique lens in which to see the world and that feel important right now--whether covering science, history, or culture.
