Erin Harris

Erin Harris is a literary Agent at Folio Literary Management and a graduate of the MFA program in Creative Writing at the New School.  She brings a strong editorial eye and hands-on approach to her agenting practice.

Erin is seeking bold, debut voices in literary and book club fiction.  On her wish list: novels that center marginalized voices; literary novels rooted in a speculative or fabulist tradition; multi-generational family sagas; books that engage with history; and upmarket suspense.

Some of her authors include: Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award Finalist Carla Power; Iowa Short Fiction Award Winner and Bread Loaf Fellow Allegra Hyde; New York Times Editor’s Choice Novelist Daniel Levine; Indie Next Pick Author Erica Ferencik; Lambda Literary Fellow SJ Sindu; and Rona Jaffe Award Winners Lina María Ferreira Cabeza-Vanegas and Natalie Haney-Tilghman.

Outside of the office, Erin serves on the board of Epiphany Magazine and is a curator of the literary event series H.I.P. Lit.
