Rachel Crawford is a literary agent at Wolf Literary. Hailing from sunny Brisbane, Australia, Rachel moved to New York in 2011. She worked previously at Sterling Lord Literistic and as an associate at Fletcher and Company, and has a background in foreign rights and book marketing.
Rachel is looking for literary and upmarket fiction and YA. She’s interested in stories that defy genre conventions and play with reader expectations, and particularly enjoys eco-fiction and near future narratives, as well as anything with a scientist protagonist. She’s looking for international fiction, stories that explore big ideas through compelling narrative, and manuscripts from traditionally underrepresented voices. She loves stories about women by women.
In non-fiction she’s interested in tech, futurism, psychology, the environment, and pop science.
